Information Security Policy Statement

PHC Group mission states that “We contribute to the health of society through our diligent efforts to create healthcare solutions that have a positive impact and improve the lives of people.” We will bring unique products and services into the world aiming for the fulfillment of our mission.

In order to ensure that customers use our products and services with a sense of safety and security, we are aware of the importance of adequate protection as well as the safe management and use of all information assets that we handle. Therefore, we designate information security as one of important management issues, and take the following actions.

1. Information security management system

We will establish an information security management system for PHC Group and make efforts to ensure more adequate management through the formulation and implementation of the required rules.

2. Information asset management

To ensure the security of information assets, we will clarify their handling methods according to their importance and risks, and adopt appropriate management measures. We will focus particular attention on the confidentiality of information from the perspective of protecting information relating our technologies centered on know-how, customers, and business partners.

3. Education and training

We will raise awareness and ensure compliance with relevant information security rules by continuously providing education and training on information security to all executives and employees.

4. Provision of secure products and services

We will ensure the security of information relating our customers, and continue to provide them with products and services that can be used with a sense of security.

5. Compliance with laws, regulations, etc., and continuous improvements

We will comply with requirements of relevant laws and regulations, contractual obligations, as well as other norms, and be responsible for continuous improvements and upgrades of efforts to ensure information security responsive to changes in the social environment.
