This system is compatible with high-brightness fluorescent dyes developed by BD, making it ideal for detecting antigens with low expression levels. It enables the rapid measurement of large numbers of cells, processing up to 35,000 events per second, and allows for the assessment of rare cell populations. In addition to the Lyric, Mediford Corporation also owns a FACSCanto II (capable of analyzing eight colors).

By irradiating stained cells, chromosomes, microbes, etc. with laser light, the system allows for the rapid and high-purity collection of specific cells within a cell population while keeping them alive.

This is a flow cytometer that uses the principles of ICP-TOF-MS. As metal mass instead of fluorescence is measured, there is zero signal overlap. This allows for the simultaneous measurement of markers for more than 40 parameters, enabling detailed analysis of immune cells.

This is the device used for ELISPOT assay. It detects cells that specifically react to antigens such as vaccines. Although IFN-γ is often used as the sole indicator to evaluate cellular immunity, it is also possible to measure other indicators such as IL-4 at the same time. Humoral immunity can also be evaluated by detecting specific antibodies.

CellInsight CX5 is a high-content analysis instrument capable of extracting quantitative data from cell populations. It is equipped with five multiplexable excitation wavelengths for fluorescence and white light illumination for colorimetric samples. The system also includes an Orbitor RS2 plate handler. At Medford Corporation, it is used for digital soft agar colony formation assays.
